Ketra is a lifelong student of human experience who brings empathy, humility, and curiosity to her clinical practice. She believes in the capacity of people to grow and heal and feels privileged to step alongside individuals on their journey toward wellbeing. Ketra works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, and trauma recovery.

While she is still developing her clinical approach, the modalities that she leans toward are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals and couples, and systemic family therapies. She also hopes to gain further education and skill in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma. Ketra’s approach is collaborative and strengths-based, informed by a deep respect for each client’s unique story and cultural context.

Ketra has a background in higher education, including advising college-aged students, and brings a lens of equity and social justice to her work. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Whitworth University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Certificate in Trauma Counseling from Antioch University.  She holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University and has extensive professional and educational experience in equity and social justice.  Ketra provides counseling under the supervision of a fully licensed clinician at Transformative Counseling and Family Services.

When she’s not in session, Ketra enjoys reading non-fiction, watching documentaries, and listening to podcasts.  She loves walking outdoors and going out to eat and believes deeply in the power of laughter and the occasional impromptu dance party.
