My approach to therapy is based on cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy. In therapy, we examine the individual, your family of origin, current family and other environments. We focus on the aspects of your life that impact your current struggle. We work to interrupt thinking patterns and behaviors which are no longer productive. We also work on functioning better in relationships whether that is with another person, family or organization, such as school or work.

I attained my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Argosy University Seattle and completed my Masters Degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle. At Antioch I studied Children, Couples and Family Therapy. I am a state Certified Mental Health Professional.

I have additional training for working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, low self-esteem, trauma, divorce, blended (step) families, adoptive families and parent coaching. Through my work in the collaborative divorce community as a Child Specialist, I have learned a great deal about navigating parent relationships. If you need help learning how to cope after your divorce and or how to navigate the co-parent relationship, I am can help guide you through best practices that help ease the tense that comes with moving from a one family household to your children having two households.
